Events

Everything in Trell is built from seven event types. Learn them once and every dashboard, funnel and webhook reads clearly.

Event types

form_view

A tracked form renders on the page.

form_start

A visitor interacts with a form for the first time.

form_submit

A visitor submits a form.

form_success

A submission completes successfully.

form_abandon

A started form is left without submitting.

cta_click

A tracked call-to-action is clicked.

field_interaction

A field is focused, changed or hesitated on.

Event context

Every event carries its page, device, browser, operating system and UTM parameters. That context powers the Sources breakdowns, the device filters and the per-visitor detail in the submissions browser.

Where they surface

Events flow into the Events log (paginated, with CSV export), the analytics dashboard KPIs, any funnel step, the comparison metrics and — on Pro — outbound webhooks.
